Sister Mary Louise Mitchell Joins St. Ann's Community as Director of Pastoral Care

Mary Louise Mitchell, SSJ, Ph.D., RN, has been named Director of Pastoral Care at St. Ann’s Community, Rochester’s leading senior housing and health services provider. She succeeds Father Peter Bayer who retired this month after 25 years in that position.

Rene Barnes has been hired as the Administrator of St. Ann’s Care Center. Rene is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations at St. Ann’s Care Center, the skilled nursing facility on the Cherry Ridge campus in Webster.

Barbara Robertson Promoted to Director of Nursing for St. Ann's Care Center

Barbara has over 20 years of experience working in nursing and has been with St. Ann’s since 2008.

St. Ann’s Community promotes Susan Murty to Vice President and Administrator.

Susan previously held the position of Administrator at St. Ann’s Care Center in Webster and prior to receiving her Nursing Home Administrator License in 2010, spent 12 years working in social work.

Rebecca has 20 years of experience working in senior living communities, 18 of which were at Chapel Oaks.

A Registered Nurse for 20 years, Elizabeth has worked for St. Ann's Community for 27 years. Prior to becoming Administrator, she worked as Director of Nursing at St. Ann’s Care Center at Cherry Ridge.

St. Ann's Community Hires Director of Financial Reporting

St. Ann’s Community welcomes Sabrina McLeod as Director of Financial Reporting. Sabrina holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Health Care Finance from SUNY Brockport and B.S. in Business Administration and Communication from Houghton College. Sabrina lives in Greece, NY.

St. Ann’s Home has earned a Five Star Rating from the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS). The Five Star Rating is the highest rating possible for skilled nursing facilities and puts St. Ann’s in the top tier of nursing homes nationwide.
